Family Therapy
Family support is a vital part of a young person’s healing journey. Our family therapy sessions strengthen relationships, enhance communication, and empower caregivers to foster a safe and supportive home environment.
Group TherapyIn group therapy, youth connect with peers experiencing similar challenges, helping to reduce isolation and build a sense of community. Topics include social skills, emotional regulation, and trauma recovery, equipping clients with essential coping skills and peer support.
For clients needing a higher level of care, our IOP offers a structured, trauma-informed program designed to address problematic behaviors and support trauma recovery. The program includes individual, family, and group therapy sessions within a nurturing, supportive framework.
Treatment for Problematic Sexual Behaviors
Our team provides specialized, non-judgmental support for youth struggling with problematic sexual behaviors, addressing underlying causes, promoting healthy coping strategies, and working collaboratively with both the individual and their family for a positive path forward.
Trauma Intensive (ATTI)
Our Advanced Trauma Therapy Intensive (ATTI) provides a customizable, client-focused approach to addressing trauma and grief. This intensive includes multiple sessions over consecutive days with a single therapist who creates a specific, therapeutic protocol tailored to the client's unique trauma history, behaviors, and needs. The process begins with an in-depth intake, gathering insights from past providers and supporters to identify what has or hasn’t worked previously. The client is actively engaged in the protocol’s development, ensuring that treatment is responsive to their experiences. Additionally, an extensive review of records and coordination with service providers occurs before the intensive begins. An outcome meeting is scheduled with everyone involved in the client’s care to establish new supports, create a safety plan, and review progress made.
We offer in-depth evaluations that assess mental health, trauma history, and behavioral concerns. Our evaluations are customized to each client’s background, providing a solid foundation for personalized treatment planning.
The Center for Safety and Healing is committed to empowering young clients and their families with the skills and resources needed for healing, growth, and long-term well-being. Our approach combines trauma-focused therapies—such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)—with holistic care that addresses both emotional and behavioral health.
From individual sessions to family counseling and group support, our team is here to provide an inclusive, compassionate environment where youth and families can find hope and healing together.
