Samantha Baird, LCSW, CSAC is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed clinical drug and alcohol counselor with over a decade of experience supporting adolescents, children, and families across various settings. Samantha specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, assisting individuals on modifying dysfunctional emotions, behaviors, and thoughts by challenging, reframing, and ultimately uprooting negative or irrational beliefs. Her expertise also extends to working with individuals facing substance use disorders, where she has held supervisory roles in substance-use disorder treatment programs.
Samantha has assisted in the development of several mental health and substance abuse outpatient programs across various states, including an Ambulatory Withdrawal Management program. She developed a program called Straight to Treatment in which she established partnerships with local law enforcement agencies where they agreed to forgive warrants for non-violent crimes and instead allowed individuals to partner with Samantha’s agency to begin substance abuse treatment that day. Samantha has also worked with various Drug Court agencies to provide treatment to those involved in the justice system. Throughout her career she has worked with all age groups from adolescent to geriatric, and has overseen various levels of care that afford her a unique perspective when entering a new program.
A licensed clinical social worker, Samantha holds a Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University, and a bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from Kutztown University. Samantha Baird brings an empathetic and experienced perspective to her work, dedicated to person-centered treatment that focuses on the whole individual.
