Rebecca "Becca" Patterson (Bridges), LPC, CSOTP
Rebecca, also known as “Becca,” has been working in the mental health field since 2005. She earned her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2010 and went on to obtain her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in Virginia in 2013, followed by her certification as a Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP) in 2014. With extensive experience in both outpatient and secured settings, Becca has worked with adults and adolescents in treatment facilities, crisis intervention settings, and specialized forensic programs. She has served diverse populations, including military families, and has worked under state and federal contracts to provide comprehensive psychosexual and mental health evaluations for individuals on probation.
Dedicated to evidence-based practice, Becca continuously seeks to integrate the latest research and therapeutic approaches into her work. She has a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy, among other modalities. Becca believes in a strength-based approach to therapy, emphasizing resilience and positive growth. She maintains an optimistic outlook, always seeing the glass as half full, and works collaboratively with clients to navigate challenges and foster meaningful change.
