Shaina Chandler, LPC, CSOTP
Shaina Chandler, LPC, CSOTP is the Founder and Clinical Director of Resolve Wellness. Shaina has been working in mental health for the past 17 years and has been working with problematic sexualized behaviors and sexual trauma for the past 15 years. Shaina began working as a child and victim advocate at a Domestic Violence Shelter and found her love of working with families and youth. Shaina studied psychology and art at Lynchburg College (now University of Lynchburg) and received her Masters of Art in Art Therapy and Trauma Counseling at The George Washington University. Shaina has gone on to be trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to use along with her background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Art Therapy. Shaina believes in treating the whole youth including emotionally, physically, socially, and behaviorally. Shaina has worked in residential treatment centers, group homes, shelters, and foster care/adopton agencies. When not giving trainings or providing therapy, Shaina loves training her therapy dog Benny and spending time with her family outside. Shaina is an avid reader, crafter, and beach lover.
Alanna Dailey LPC, CSOTP, NCC
Alanna has over a decade of experience working with children and adolescents in the mental health field, eight of which specialized in working with problem sexual behavior. She studied sociology and psychology at Christopher Newport University and received her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Alanna has a background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Didactical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing that she utilizes to help enrich and promote healing across the neurodivergent spectrum and effects of trauma. She is passionate about helping youth discover their true selves as they build the social and life skills needed to achieve healthy relationships within their families and peer groups. Alanna has worked in residential facilities, group homes and intensive outpatient and community-based agencies. In her free time, Alanna plays a variety of water sports, obsesses over plants, and spends quality time with her family, friends, and two dogs.
Morgan Potts, LMSW, Supervisee in Social Work, CSOTP Trainee
Morgan is a supervisee in social work currently pursing her LCSW along with her CSOTP. Morgan completed a Bachelors in Social Work with a Minor in Psychology followed by a Masters in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. She has worked in outpatient substance use treatment, inpatient forensic psychiatric treatment, and youth residential services. She enjoys using a variety of therapeutic interventions including art, games, and stories to meet the unique needs of each individual. Out of the office, she is usually spending time outside, reading, or gardening.
