Meagan Abadi, MA, LPC
Meagan Abadi, MA, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of clinical experience in trauma-informed care, specializing in the treatment of at-risk and justice-involved youth. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Meagan is licensed in both Virginia (LPC #0701014509) and Texas (LPC #72554) and brings a strong background in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention. Meagan is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI), and Phased-Based Treatment (PBT)—a structured clinical model for addressing problematic sexual behaviors in minors. Her experience spans individual and family therapy, group facilitation, and clinical leadership roles in outpatient, residential, and forensic settings. Before joining The Center for Safety and Healing, Meagan served as Clinical Director at Impact Counseling and Wellness Group and most recently provided trauma treatment for children and adolescents impacted by abuse and exploitation at Children’s Safe Harbor in Texas. She integrates evidence-based practices such as TF-CBT, DBT, and PBT to promote safety, insight, and lasting behavioral change in youth. Meagan currently provides individual and family therapy, group services, and clinical support for transition and reentry programming.
