Dr. Pamela M. Robinson, PhD
Dr. Pamela M. Robinson, PhD is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the fields of psychology and counseling. She brings extensive clinical, academic, and leadership expertise to her work with adolescents and adults across a variety of treatment settings.
Dr. Robinson earned her Master of Education in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from Walden University. She is professionally affiliated with the American Psychological Association and is a Lifetime Member of the Psi Chi International Honor Society.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Robinson has a strong background in teaching and supervision. She has taught undergraduate psychology courses at Regent University and Johnson C. Smith University and has served as a guest lecturer at Virginia State University. She currently serves as the resident psychologist at a residential treatment facility for adolescents.
Dr. Robinson’s professional experience spans private practice, residential treatment, and hospital-based behavioral health settings. Her work has included conducting psychological and diagnostic assessments, providing individual and group therapy, completing personality and intellectual testing, and delivering risk assessments for both youth and adults. She has also worked with active-duty military service members and veterans experiencing mental health and substance use concerns.
Her additional areas of expertise include crisis intervention, emergency services training, critical incident stress management, supervision of doctoral-level interns, and clinical leadership and management. Dr. Robinson is known for her comprehensive, thoughtful approach to assessment and treatment, with a strong emphasis on ethical care, clinical collaboration, and individualized treatment planning.
