Adult Services at the Center for Safety and Healing

The Center for Safety and Healing offers specialized, trauma-informed services for adults, providing comprehensive care in a safe and compassionate environment. Our team has extensive experience in addressing trauma and problematic behaviors, working with each client to foster resilience, healing, and long-term well-being. Our services are available seven days a week to ensure consistent, accessible support.

Individual Therapy

Our individualized therapy sessions focus on each client’s unique experiences and needs, providing a safe, therapeutic space for adults to process trauma, develop coping skills, and move toward emotional resilience and self-empowerment. Sessions are designed to support personal growth, healing, and self-discovery.

Group Therapy

Group therapy provides adults with the opportunity to connect with others facing similar challenges, reducing isolation and building a sense of community. Our groups cover topics such as trauma recovery, emotional regulation, and self-care, offering clients valuable support and coping skills.

Treatment for Problematic Sexual Behaviors

Our team offers specialized, non-judgmental support for adults struggling with problematic sexual behaviors. This treatment addresses underlying causes and focuses on developing healthy coping strategies. Our approach is collaborative, working closely with the client and any supportive family members to promote a positive, healing path forward.

Trauma Intensives

Our Advanced Trauma Therapy Intensive (ATTI) provides a highly customizable, client-centered approach to addressing trauma and grief. This intensive includes multiple sessions over consecutive days with a single therapist, who develops a specific therapeutic protocol tailored to the client's trauma history, behaviors, and unique needs. The process begins with an in-depth intake, gathering feedback from past providers and supporters to identify what has or hasn’t worked in the past. Clients are actively engaged in developing their protocol to ensure it addresses their personal goals and experiences. Additionally, an extensive review of records and coordination with service providers occurs before the intensive begins. An outcome meeting with all individuals involved in the client’s care is scheduled to establish new supports, create a safety plan, and review progress made.

Comprehensive Evaluations

We offer thorough evaluations to assess mental health, trauma history, and behavioral concerns, providing a robust foundation for personalized treatment planning. Each evaluation is customized to align with the client’s unique background and experiences.

The Center for Safety and Healing is committed to empowering adult clients with the skills and resources needed for healing, personal growth, and sustained well-being. Our approach integrates trauma-focused therapies—such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)—with holistic care that considers both emotional and behavioral health.

Through individual, family, and group support, we are here to provide a compassionate, inclusive environment where adults can find hope and healing.
